Mezze is a family owned and run business which was established in January of 1991. The concept was a vision of Siham Khalil (founder and managing partner) who came up with the business idea while volunteering at a local charity to help people in need. She was so touched by the needs of the women of her community that she came up with an idea to provide work for them. Siham hired them to do what they knew best; make Lebanese food. The business started out small and quickly gained popularity throughout Lebanon, especially as economic times grew difficult and people had less time to cook meals at home. Busy professionals, including working mothers, began to rely on Mezze's frozen foods to provide a convenient homemade meal for their families. Mezze's mission is to provide people of all backgrounds with the opportunity to indulge in traditional meals from the Lebanese culture.
